Sifting through the staggering amount of reports in UFO archives may be a daunting and tedious task. By using the data recorded in the archives and Google Earth it becomes clearer whether or not these sightings are isolated or if they share any type of characteristics.

Orange Glowing Objects
Seattle, Washington - 12/14/2014 :
2 Reports have significant similarities.
Several orange glowing objects were reported being seen at 10:50PM and 11:50PM. In both reports objects were south of Seattle, changed directions, and appeared to be under control (maneuvering). Both reports state there was a hovering and blinking white light separate from the formation of orange orbs that vanished traveling in the eastern direction.
Green Streaks Across The Night Sky
Ringgold, Georgia & Rancho Cucamonga, California - 12/14/2014:
2 Reports may share seeing a similar anomaly 1,800 miles away from each other.
At 9:23PM in Georgia a witness reported seeing a "green ball of light" fly from east to west. At 9:30PM in California a witness reported seeing "a green bright streak" but did not say in which direction it was going. Both of these reports state a short sighting 3 hours apart from each other (time difference) at an estimated difference in distance of 1800 miles. Roughly calculated; the object may have been traveling at 600 mph which is the about the speed of a normal commercial airplane. Meteors are known to make green streaks across a night sky. This would be too slow for a meteor, assuming it was the same exact object. It is very important to note this was the same night as one of the strongest meteor showers (Geminids) of the year.
Conclusion : Possibly two different Geminid meteors.
Unusual Lights in a Trianglular Formation
Long Beach, California & Costa Mesa, California 12/14/2014:
2 Reports within 4 hours of each other describing similar objects with the same characteristics.
At 5:50 PM in Long Beach a witness described seeing about 5 lights flying "a bit faster than a helicopter" at a low altitude. The witness reported that 3 of the lights went into a triangle formation followed by another set of 3 doing the same. Each set became one white light and formed some kind of singular craft that could almost barely be seen. Each light then went opposite directions and vanished at different points in time.
Later, at 9:10 PM in Costa Mesa a witness spotted a "translucent or clear" object made up of 4 lights in a triangular traveling from east to west at a "not too high altitude" and high rate of speed. The object made no sound.

It's possible that each witness saw a similar object at different times. The number of lights between these reports do not match up exactly but the description of the lights being attached to a translucent-type craft should be rendered significant. Being that the distance between these reports is less than 20 miles apart and a similar type craft should be significant as well. Further investigation into phenomena in this area may be followed up on and featured in a future report.
Red/Orange Orbs Sighted Within 18 Miles/40 Minutes Apart
Manassas, Virginia & Ashburn, Virginia 12/14/2014:
2 Reports of similar objects reported with an 18 mile and 40 minute difference.
At 8:00 PM in Manassas a witness reported seeing 6 red orbs "moving in the strangest way" and were turning orange. During the sighting the witness decided to stop their car and get out to take a better look and then there were only 4 orbs left which vanished in the next two minutes. There was also a helicopter seen circling the area. 40 minutes later in Ashburn Virginia a witness reported seeing 3 objects of light over the area. There were soon 4, then 5 objects. They began following each other in a circular formation and then "they were gone".
The number of glowing objects (the Ashburn witness did not specify color), the maneuvering, and the short distance/time-frame suggests that both witnesses may have seen the same objects at different times. This information may prove useful in further future investigation of phenomena in the area.
Triangular Object Seen in Two Different States
Fort Mill, South Carolina & Maryland Heights, Missouri 12/14/2014:
2 Reports of a similar UFO describe the same characteristics 600 miles apart and 1 hour and 15 minute time difference.
At 5:00PM in Fort Mill a witness reported seeing 13 white lights in a vertical configuration at a low altitude. The Lights went away and the witness described seeing a solid triangular object with lights in each corner. An hour and 15 minutes later (taking in the consideration between time zones -1hr) in Maryland Heights a witness reported seeing a perfect triangular-shaped craft with lights in each corner traveling south, southwest in low altitude.
This appears to be the same object considering the altitude, description, time, and distance between reports. Neither witness reported an approximate speed. If it was the same object it would have been traveling less than 600 MPH which is the about the speed of a commercial airplane. This information may be useful in the future when investigating other anomalies in this area.

Domino Effect-Type Lights in the Sky

"I was in San Pedro California with my sister, as i was taking pictures of the beautiful view i had i noticed something was off in the sky. So i proceeded to take more pictures and i realized there was a domino effect of light in the sky. At first i thought maybe something was reflecting off the floor but there couldn't have been because beneath the object was the ocean. When i kept looking at the object it started moving NW within a mater of seconds it literally disappeared into the clouds. I was more excited and amazed more than anything because I have never seen anything like it before. The object just disappeared into the clouds."

Saint Augustine, CA 12:00 AM on 12/17/2014
"As I was walking my Dog I noticed a helicopter fly over my head, in the highest point of my neighborhood. I could hear it through my headphones and got a great view of it. An hour later around 11 P.M I was smoking a cigarette, in the same spot I watched a meteor shower from a few days ago. Almost in the same direction I saw another shooting star, before I could think anything It shoots down incredibility low and fast. The plump behind it becomes very elongated and glows bright blue. It lowers to what I would guess as about a mile up and stops! I get a clear 3 second glance as it rotates from South to West. The actual object may have been round and cylindrical, but I KNOW the engine shot a bright green light, it looked like a rectangular jet. On what I'm guessing is the cabin I saw 2 lights, green and red. Which made me think it could have been military. But the speed, then hovering, then the direction change, and the meteorite like plumb made it impossible! the cabin looked almost like glass, like see through or maybe metal that had a slight glow. as I sew the cabin turn toward the West, I see the Green jets brighten but the object just disappeared. No plumb following it, no sound, It just vanishes. It was to quick for me to say if the lights on the cabin were blinking or not, and the body of the object was very hard to make out. I have no doubt what I saw was real, and crazy advanced. I'm attaching a crude hand drawn picture, the body may not be correct. But I know the rear of the object was definitely rectangular."

FIREY OBJECTS
Islamorada, FL 7:00PM on 12/14/2014
"On Sunday night around 7 pm, after sun went down, I was inside my home. My boyfriend came up fast and said to get outside quick. So I followed him out to the front of our house and we ran out to middle of street, and he was pointing up, saying look! What I saw looked like fire balls gliding smoothly from the north. They were on a from N to a NNE approximate path. As I watched they appeared out of nowhere, just gliding along. Never saw any rapid acceleration. One would appear then couple seconds later another is following, same speed and altitude, a couple of seconds then another. This continued for a few minutes. At this time about 4 of them clustered up on the same path. They were moving around each other. Moving around one and back up and moving around in front of one of them. I wanted to run inside before they quit coming, but when I see the clustering I wanted to see if they were moving like a helicopter or those balloons, but the movement was deliberate and moving around much too quick. This weeks report has brought to light some interesting coincidences of a few sightings. Unfortunately the only day that so far seems to have reports with coinciding connections was 12/14/2014. I have analyzed this data day by day and case by case against one another and used my best judgement to realize connections between them. More connections will perhaps be made in this report as I go through the data in the future. I invite you to investigate as well.
